Offer valid only through Shack Scraps!

Get ready for the holidays and stock up today! Let me help you make the most of your holiday crafting dollar and take advantage of my Free Shipping deal.

Why am I offering Free Shipping?

First, I'd like to thank all my customers for being a part of my Stampin' Up! journey and what better way than by giving back!

In addition, the month of September marks the end of the Stampin' Up! fiscal year and I'd like to boost my final year end sales just a bit.

Let's help each other out!  You get the fabulous thank you gift of free shipping and I get a sales boost! You Win, I Win!

How do you get Free Shipping?

Orders must be emailed directly to me, rather than placed in my online store. Why? Because this sale is from me only and my online store front will not recognize the free shipping order.

To make the order much easier to do, just open my online store - add items to your cart totaling $50 or more, then copy and paste the contents of your shopping cart right into your email (just be careful not to submit your order).

Your order must include the following items:
  1. Your First and Last Name
  2. Full shipping address, including street, city, state, and zip (USA only please)
  3. If you qualify for Stampin' Rewards, be sure to add those items to your email as well. Stampin' Rewards are awarded for the following sales amounts:
  • for $150 to $299 you will receive 10%
  • for $300 - $449 you will receive  12%
  • for $450 - $599 you will receive 14%
  • for $600 or more  you will receive 16%
Take your total sales BEFORE taxes and multiply it by the percent of rewards you qualify for, and that's how your Stampin' Rewards are figured.

Within 24 hours, you will receive an invoice via email from me with your total amount due and a payment link.  Send your payment promptly, as it must be received no later than September 30, to qualify for the free shipping deal.

In addition, all those who place their $50+ order with me this week during my Free Shipping Flash Sale will be entered into a final drawing for a 20% off coupon - winner to be announced on Sunday, October 1.

Daisy Delight Bouquet

Hey friends, thought i would share my Saturday afternoon crafting project with you all. I used Neena white card stock and retired hello honey card stock, my daisy punch from the Daisy Delight Bundle, some 20 gauge floral stems, dimensionals, and hot glue to make the flowers. The center punch was a half inch circle punch that i borrowed from a friend. I added some onion grass and a bag of marbles from the dollar tree. The ribbon is retired stampin up ribbon. And my lovely jar came from Lake Tahoe Hard Rock Cafe, a gift from a lovely friend of my son's. Those green butterflies came with the onion grass. I just LOVE how it turned out!!

Paper and Ink Sketches #23

Paper and Ink Sketches #23: Showcasing Eastern Beauty and Eastern Medallions Thinlits

I created this card specifically for the Paper and Ink Sketches #23 challenge that my Stampin' Up! upline, Angie from Chic'n Scratch, hosts. It uses the Eastern Beauty photopolymer stamp set as well as the Eastern Medallions Thinlits which come bundled so you can save a full 10%, as well as the  Eastern Palace DSP.

I used a touch of silver help the bow stand out a bit. The Eastern Palace DSP set comes with gold accents but I decided to change it up a bit with the silver.

I used the largest Medallion in the thinlits set for my sentiment and then placed it face down on the back of a piece of Silver Glimmer paper and traced around it. Then I fussy cut the glimmer element so it would layer behind the medallion.  As per usual, I used glue dots to attach the sentiment to the glimmer paper so it would hold nicely.

If you would like to play along, download the sketch below.

The Eastern Palace Suite can be found on page 18 of the annual catalog. This set would be a great set to buy if you are planning on redeeming some of your $5 certificates earned during the month of July.

Product Spotlight: Embossing Paste

Get it here!

What is it...

Embossing paste is a thick paste which is applied to paper or cardstock. When dried, the paste creates a textured surface - similar to embossing folders but without the need for a machine.

Tools you will want to pick up to use with your embossing paste include:

Questions about our Embossing Paste?

Stampin' Up! Answers here:
We wanted to let you know that the measurements listed in the catalog for the Embossing Paste (item 141979) are incorrect. These measurements that are found on the packaging are accurate: 4 fl oz/118 ml.
These measurements (fluid ounces and milliliters) refer to volume (how much space the paste takes up) and not weight. The paste is 4 fl oz/118 ml when packaged and may settle and become more condensed while shipped or over time. This does not affect the use of the paste or how long it will last.
We also wanted to let you know that we use a jar with a wider opening and leave some empty space so there’s plenty of room to use the palette knives (item 142808) to scoop the paste out of the jar.

Current Promotions:

Brush Calligraphy using Stampin' Write Markers

Hello crafters... Its been a while since i been online and my blog has been slightly neglected. Im hoping to change that a little bit. Its one of my New Years Goals... To post more.

In addition to that goal, another one is to explore and learn brush calligraphy. I decided to join a group of lovely people on Instagram where we are participating in 30-days of drills. 4-weeks of practicing the basics. I am a week behind everyone else but i totally consider it an advantage because I am enjoying not only our instructors advice but tips from those a week ahead of me!

Go ahead and seach #showmeyourdrills on instagram and you will find a bunch of awesome inspiration should you decide to join.
