Happy Easter!

Hello Stampers!  It's been a while since I posted... sorry about that. Life has been extremely busy of late.  I do hope all of you had a Happy and Blessed Easter!  I spent Easter Sunday with my grand daughter, Avah. How was your Easter?

Today, I have a Stampin' Up! basket tutorial for you... its small and adorable. Works well for sharing treats at work. I would imagine it would make a perfect placeholder for a baby shower or a formal dinner table. And it's super easy to make using only a 6x6 sheet of designer series paper! I made mine with some retired stash I had left over - Great way to use up scraps!

This basket uses the Stampin' Up! Gift Box Punch Board and its smallest box template. I did not punch the corners but instead folded those down the outside of the box to make use of the 2-sided DSP.
Staple or glue a half inch by six inch strip of coordinating DSP to form the handle, then use the bow builder punch to create two bows of coordinating DSP to put over the staples. Glue down the flaps opposite the handle sides, then shred some Mossy Meadow DSP to put inside the basket. It will hold several candy kisses or a large Cadbury Cream Egg or even one decorated Easter Egg.

Tools and Supplies Needed:
6x6 sheet DSP (2-sided)
Coordinating Cardstock
Gift Box Punch Board
Bow Builder Punch
Glue Dots
Stapler
Shredded Paper

Even better though, the Gift Box Punch Board is ON SALE this week!  Pick it up for only $15.00. And while your checking out the Gift Box Punch Board, take a look at the other weekly deals we have too!

Besides making these cute little gift box punch board baskets, Avah and I had loads of fun creating some cute candy baskets for her mom and uncle and his girl friend. While these aren't Stampin' Up! baskets, they were still so much fun to make with her! She liked them much better than her own basket - which was overflowing with yummy treats and silly toys.

These were super easy to make. Just a glue gun, some chipboard for the bottom, and movie theater candy boxes from Walmart.  I picked up Slim Jims for the handles cuz these were for my adult kids. Just need to keep the boxes of candies about the same size in height. Avah enjoyed putting them together. She filled the baskets while I hot glued them.

Well, that's all I have for today!  Happy Stamping!
