It's time again for my Pinterest Picks of the Week! I missed you all last week due to many family members graduations and parties. It was a fun-filled weekend...I enjoyed it very much. I hope you had a wonderful weekend where ever you were!
I have decided to do this Pick of the Week post different than my first because I found an amazing and cool new iphone app that lets me create some really neat collage images from the photos on my phone. And - I found that app through a pinterest pin! Isn't that just so righteous! I already had several of the suggested apps but I did find several new ones, including the collage app -Moldiv - and one I can use for a picture a day - Catpture - great for using with your This and That journal and/or Project Life scrapbook albums.
Be sure to click on each collage to see it in full screen - the app lets you save the images in super large sizes - these were saved as 1200x1200 - which is the smallest of the choices. See how well the collage app works:

I am determined to get back into scrapbooking...its been way to long since I scrapped any of my grand daughter's photos... I found a couple easy peasy layouts on Pinterest that I am sure I can alter to make my own. I love the way they both used the strips of patterned paper. I almost always have odd strips left over from making cards - and these layouts should do the trick. You can do them in either 12x12 as shown in the pins or make them 6x6 - depending upon your scraps! Either way, have fun with it...and if you need inspiration help...remember Pinterest has a million ideas!
The other item I have been noticing on Pinterest, probably because of Mother's Day, is handmade card gifts! I love putting my new Simply Scored Tool to work to make pretty packaging for my cards. I made several cute gifts for Mother's Day this year too. I am hoping to make more as I love giving card sets away - its the best kinda gift because it just keeps on giving! The sets shown in the collage above would all make cute gifts... What is your favorite handmade gift to give?
The above images, and several more that I pinned from the week before, highlight one of the new stamp sets from our brand new catalog that goes live at the end of the week... Mosaic Madness is such a versatile stamp set. It is super easy to use to create custom backgrounds. In addition, Stampin' Up! also includes a coordinating embossing folder as well as a punch...making this a great set for creating geometrical designs!
With the new catalog, Stampin' Up! also introduced their own brand of pretty washi tapes...which I must say was sorely needed to stay on trend with the industry. Washi tape is EVERYWHERE! Above are a few cool ways to use washi tape. Drop me a comment and tell me your favorite way to use Washi Tape. Stay tuned to my blog - I have a few fun ways to use washi tape that I would love to share as well!
Be sure to stop in and visit my Pinterest Picks of the Week board to see other cool goodies I have found - including some great organizational ideas and furniture....

Disclaimer: I am a new Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I am working on replacing all my craft supplies with only Stampin' Up! product, but I will occasionally use some of my non-SU stash. Bare with me as I work to replenish my stash with only SU product. I will be highlighting new products as they come in and I will always point out great alternatives to my non-SU product that are Stampin' Up!. Thanks for understanding.
